Christmas Light Up Celebration

In 1993, Christmas Light Up founders, Patty and Lloyd Faux and a few dedicated friends saw a need to bring the Christmas Spirit to the community. They began a labor of love by decorating Clinton Park in Findlay Township, Pennsylvania with a one-mile long Christmas light display through the park's wooded path. 

The goal was simple: They wanted to celebrate the Christmas Season and use admission proceeds to give back to the community. After the first year's success, the light displays continued and turned into a tradition year-after-year. Since those early days, additional displays have been added, millions of lights have been strung and countless volunteers have leant their hands and hearts toward this effort. Thanks to that vision, volunteerism and the hard work of many,  we have been able to make meaningful and substantial contributions to well-deserving organizations and those in need.

Now, in our 33rd year, thanks to several volunteers, coordination with the Findlay Township Community, and the generosity of others, the Light Up continues to be an adorned Christmas attraction in Southwestern Pennsylvania, Greater Pittsburgh Region and the Tri-State Area.
